18–19 October: a statement win, solidity and an academy on the move

Four goals to lift Pau Negre, a valuable 0–0 in Terrassa, seconds competing, Papis winning and U12 Girls on the road to the indoor final. The club keeps growing.

The weekend opened with a statement at Pau Negre. The Men’s First Team controlled tempo and circles to seal a convincing 4–1 against Línia 22 HC. Federico Vittori broke the deadlock with a coolly-taken penalty corner and, after the break, the side found the continuity and depth it was chasing: Juan Segundo and Joan Reig, in two breathless minutes, stretched the lead, and Martí Casanovas rounded off a performance full of craft and clarity.

In Terrassa, the Women’s First Team earned a hard-fought 0–0 on Club Egara’s pitch: disciplined lines, insistence to the end and a clear message at this early stage — the team wants to climb back to the top end of the table.

The senior sides keep tuning up and banking meaningful minutes. Men’s Second Orange celebrated the season’s first win, a solid 4–1 against a Castelldefels HC team used to being up there. Men’s Second Blue, by contrast, ran into a very efficient Línia 22 Ciutat de Terrassa and leaves the weekend with lessons that will turn into points later.

On the women’s side, Second Blue rescued a gritty draw away at Atlètic 1952 after conceding inside the first minute, while Second Orange battled to the end at Pau Negre against Pedralbes, the strongest side in the category.

The Mamis 9x9 couldn’t add points against Castelldefels HC but keep adding rhythm to a group that understands itself better every week. The Papis, meanwhile, signed a prestige win at Polo Rosso (0–1) and confirm a pleasing early-season trend: compact team, clear ideas and that bit of know-how that decides the fine details.

Across the academy, the picture is of a club growing. The U18 Girls set the pace at Pau Negre against Junior FC B; the U16 Girls earned a composed and deserved 0–2 at Les Pedritxes; the U16 Boys split a wide-open game with Iluro (3–3), and the U14 Boys came from behind with maturity to win 3–2 over CH Sant Andreu. The U12 Girls closed an intense double header with a 3–1 at home to Diagonal HC Azul and a narrow 3–2 in Terrassa against ATHC Negre — and the news that excites everyone: they will play next weekend’s indoor final after a brilliant league phase under coach Jaime Tiscornia. The U12 Boys and U10s continue to stack quality minutes and competitive foundations that show week after week.
