Pau Negre hosted a Super Sunday with a true big-match feel.
The Women’s First Team kept their momentum and beat CD Terrassa 3–0 in a complete performance: high press, continuity and composure to close it out without fuss. The Men’s First Team, by contrast, trailed 0–2 at halftime against Atlètic Terrassa; in the last quarter they pulled one back quickly and pushed hard for the equaliser until the end, which this time didn’t arrive (1–2). In the same window, the Women’s Second Orange side earned a valuable 1–1 draw at Pau Negre against Barcelona HC, a direct rival for the playoff spots: a point that counts and keeps the path on track.
Among the senior teams, the weekend left clear takeaways. The Women’s Second Blue found goals and authority again with a 5–0 against HC Sant Cugat — a step forward for a group that is finding itself.
The Men’s Second Blue lost 2–3 to Atlètic 1952 but left a good impression and the feel of a competitive team.
The Men’s Second Orange rescued a hard-earned 1–1 at Sarrià HC: a game that turned against us early but was straightened with character and chances to win it.
For the Mamis, a double shift: the 9v9 fell by the narrowest margin at Barcelona HC (1–0) and the 7v7 defeated Iluro HC with clarity (3–0).
Across the academy, the headline belongs to the U12 Girls: indoor champions after a 2–5 in Sant Cugat against Junior FC Blanc, crowning an excellent championship under coach Jaime Tiscornia.
The U12 Boys recorded a clear 8–1 against Sitges; the U10s beat Sant Andreu with a very serious second half; the U14 Girls won 4–2 over Club Egara C, and the U14 Boys battled to the end in Castelldefels. The U18 Girls lost 2–1 at Sant Andreu in an intense game.
A weekend that confirms the academy’s progress: more minutes, firmer foundations and more personality.
